Portraits

Portraits are all about communicating the look and character of an individual. Portrait  pictures should capture the personality and mood of a subject by using effective lighting, backdrops and props. I photograph  people  to record the different aspects of a personality as well as different moods. The light and composition  reinforce the look of the images and deliver the intended message.

I photographed two different people with the aim to reveal  who they are; either by what they do for a living, and/or what their hobby is, and/or how old they are.

I photograph two famous people born not more than 100 years ago as a still life, without using any text or pictures of that person. Can you guess who they are?

All my pictures I edited, are square format, and on the black background because I wanted them to match together. I like the portrait pictures because they are presenting people. You can see expression on their faces which gives more personality to the image. With pictures of still life was more difficult to find the idea to create unique image of the famous person.
